This listing is for a pre-order of my art yarn advent calendar, where you will receive 24 individually wrapped 20g mini skeins in a presentation box with the option to add additional 100g skeins and/or a generously sized project bag with a modern art design that will be hand painted by myself to open on Christmas Day.
I am pleased to announce that you can now place a pre-order for my Christmas 2026 art yarn advent calendar.
The calendar will feature colourways inspired by the Modern Masters of MoMA - a curated celebration of iconic works from artists represented in the New York Museum of Modern Art’s collection, each skein will be inspired by a different artist or artwork including Picasso, Van Gogh, Monet, Kandinsky and many more.
Each skein of yarn will be thoughtfully created by me to form a cohesive variegated palette that flows beautifully across the entire calendar, making this collection perfect for a single, unified project if you wish to work it up that way, or to be used in multiple different projects. The optional project bag will be lined with a zip fastening and will be big enough to hold your advent calendar/jumper/blanket quantities of yarn.
Every day throughout December, you’ll open a beautifully crafted skein, each one a journey through my favourite modern artists and inspirations from the MoMA in New York. The MoMA has been my favourite art gallery ever since I visited at 18, back in 2008, during my first year studying Fine Art at uni, and this stunning calendar will allow you to create a beautiful project inspired by the bold tones, textures, and compositions of the iconic artwork contained within the famous gallery that has inspired me so much.

Calendars will only be dyed to order so are limited, and will be available on a one of two bases:
Superwash Merino DK - 100% Superwash Merino. 42meters per 20gram skein (210m per 100g).
Superwash Sock 4 Ply - A blend of 75% Superwash Merino and 25% Nylon. 80meters per 20gram skein (400m per 100g).
Please choose your base from the above options when adding to the basket. If you would like to add an additional one or two 100g skeins to open on Christmas Day or a project bag, then please also select this optional extra to add to your basket.
**Note both 100g skeins will be the same colourway**
There will be a limited amount of calendars and they are only available on pre-order, so place your order early to avoid disappointment.
If you are based in Europe please place your order on Etsy as this makes the customs process easier - my Etsy shop is TheYarnArtistUK.
As this is a heavy, high-value product and needs to be sent tracked, this product is exempt from free postage offers and postage has been calculated as so.
Please place your orders for other items separately as all items will be sent at the same time as the advent. Discount codes cannot be used on this product.
Invoices for instalments payments will be sent out in early July and early September.
Advent won't be shipped until October/November 2026.
