This is Composition VII 1913 and isn’t it beautiful? I saw this painting several years ago on loan in London and let me tell you, it is MASSIVE, a truly immersive art experience. Composition VII is thought to be Kandinsky‘s first completely abstract painting, the first of many amazing abstract pieces of art, and it makes a pretty amazing skein of yarn too, perfect for any summer stash.
This Peruvian yarn is a 4 ply made from 75% Superwash Merino wool and 25% nylon, which is soft to touch and won't be itchy next to the skin, whilst having elasticity. The fibers have been specially treated before being spun to enable it to be machine washable, therefore it will not ‘felt’ when washed, it is a great easy-care yarn - but please be gentle with your hand knits!
All my yarn is rinsed in Ecover washing up liquid after dyeing.
