This gorgeous skein is inspired by the 1956 photograph of Helen Frankenthaler by Gordon Parks for LIFE magazine. I just adore this tones in this photograph and how Frankenthaler stands out as a beauty in pink amongst a wash of blues, white's and oranges.

This is made from fully traceable organically grown fleece, the finest produced from the Falkland Islands, South Atlantic. A standard 4 ply made from 100% Superwash Merino wool which is soft to touch and won't be itchy next to the skin. The fibres have been specially treated before being spun to enable it to be machine washable, therefore it will not ‘felt’ when washed, it is a great easy-care yarn - but please be gentle with your hand knits!
