This is Helen Frankenthaler's 'In her studio', Frankenthaler is an abstract expressionist, which is my favourite art movement, so I loved dyeing these skeins! This skein is inspired by a photograph of Helen at work in her studio in 1975, I love seeing artists in their happy place 😁

This is made from fully traceable organically grown fleece, the finest produced from the Falkland Islands, South Atlantic. A standard 4 ply made from 100% Superwash Merino wool which is soft to touch and won't be itchy next to the skin. The fibres have been specially treated before being spun to enable it to be machine washable, therefore it will not ‘felt’ when washed, it is a great easy-care yarn - but please be gentle with your hand knits!
