The Water Lilies paintings are amongst Monet's most famous, and with around 250 paintings in the collection there are many variations of style and colour to base my yarn upon. With such a big catalogue of work to choose from, there is a lot of room for creativity when dyeing yarns based around the water lilies paintings, which I really enjoy, and for this collection of yarn I have dyed each skein a semi solid colour from one of Monet’s paintings and then splattered it with the colours from the other skeins in the collection to create several spectacular skeins which are themed on Monet's floating floral masterpiece.
